If you need some dummy files to perform some tests, you can rely on NonCompressibleFiles to generate them for you. This lightweight utility is capable of creating non-compressible files, as the name suggests, and it lets you choose their size. It's an excellent solution if you wish to test transfer speeds, to see how a process will affect a file and so on. It takes only a second and a few clicks to generate a file with the characteristics of your choice.

You don't have to go through an installation process to run the application. It comes as a single executable, which you only need to extract and run. There is no need to meet any special requirements, and you won't notice any impact on your system's performance.

NonCompressibleFiles comes with a compact user interface, on which you can customize a file without any effort. The application lets you make the file compressible or non-compressible, set its size and pick a destination folder. You can make the file as small as 10 KB or as large as 10 GB, either by selecting a size or by manually typing it in an input field. Additionally, you can decide to create a single file or more.

Even if you create multiple large files, you won't have to wait for more than a few seconds. They don't contain information in particular, and they can't be used by any application. The sole purpose of these files is performing tests. If you want to see how fast you can upload or download data, if files are compressed when you upload them somewhere or test the performance of a program, you can just generate a file with this application, instead of combing the hard drive for one that meets your criteria.

Regardless of what tests you intend to run, NonCompressibleFiles will provide you with files with the exact characteristics you need.

You can generate files of specific sizes. The process takes only a few seconds, even with large files. The software can make your files compressible or non-compressible.

There are no serious issues to point out.
